Diagnostic Waxup

Developing a diagnostic waxup before tooth preparation is an essential part of planning your next case.  By creating provisionals from the waxup first, both the functional and esthetic desires of the patient can be addressed prior to  the final restorations being created. This technique ensures accurate communication not only with the patient, but with the ceramists at Haupt Dental Laboratory. Following the acceptance of the patient, an accurate impression of the provisionals and detailed photographs are always suggested.  To ensure the success of your diagnostic waxup/case, download our Haupt Dental Lab Diagnostic Waxup Guide (PDF).
